Layne Lauritzen has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1980. He started his own firm in Austin, Texas in 1985 and began to develop a concentration in the music industry. Currently, over half of his client base consists of music and other entertainment-related clients. He is locally and regionally recognized as having a “niche” in this area and has developed an expertise in many aspects of the business issues facing music professionals. He has served on many music industry seminar panels in the Austin area through such organizations as South by Southwest (SXSW), Artist Legal & Accounting Assistance of Austin (ALAA), the Austin Music Foundation, the annual Entertainment Law Institute seminars hosted by the Texas State Bar, and seminars hosted by the Austin chapter of Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Layne previously served as treasurer and board member of the SIMS Foundation, a non-profit organization that has offered low-cost mental health services to the music community for over 15 years.

Layne is happily married to his wife Kim and has three grown daughters. He loves to play the mandolin, spend time outside, and catch up on the local music scene.
April Anschutz – Office Assistant/Bookkeeper
April is an Austin native who has a varied background in non-profits, Human Resources, and business management. Luckily for us, she is an expert in doing all things administrative. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family in Wimberly, creative writing, the Texas music scene, and traveling across the beautiful Texas landscape.
A newbie to the Austin area, Dusty ‘s degree is in Psychology, but her background is in city management, non-profits, and business process optimization. She is also a relationship coach, mentor, blogger, and writer under a pseudonym. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, music (plays the banjo, ukulele, guitar, piano, and sings), hiking, and road trips.
Becky is a transplanted native to Austin from Illinois about 33 years ago. She and her husband are empty nesters, but kids and grandkid nearby. She’s been doing tax returns for over 25 years now. Becky and her husband have been happily married for 40 years, and enjoy hiking, music, and hanging out with friends and family.
